LONGBEACH

This past weekend, good friend Tim Mackey and myself headed to the coast for a couple skim demos in Sea Side, Oregon and Longbeach, Washington. The trip was a blast. We had sun, we had fun, and we ate like kings. Friday we stopped at Astoria skatepark to play for a bit, then to sea side for our first demo. Although it was super windy, the people were great and the local shop employees shredded our faces off at the local skatepark after the skim demo. Friday night we got to stay with our awesome friends from Skookum Surf Co. in Longbeach. Nick, Julez, and Laila cooked some delicious garlic salmon which we enjoyed along with a cozy fire pit, some cold beers and a sick session on their newly built private mini ramp. IT WAS A PERFECT NIGHT. Saturday we hit the beach pretty much all day, with a demo in the morning and afternoon, we still managed to hit up some waves on our own time, and had a blast. All in all it was a layed back sweet weekend on the coast. Thanks again Skookum Surf Co. and Sea Side Surf shop for the hospitality, you hooked it UP! Til' next time.
FOR BREAKFAST.
